I love clothes and the feelings they can evoke in both the wearer and the beholder. I actually view a wardrobe as a portrait of the wearer.

I have spent many years studying and resurching fashions from different cultures and different historical periods.

I have been deigning my own wardrobe since I was about fifteen years old.

I am now designing several fashion lines, to be launched next year. The aspects of Helen Wells fashion design availble now are:

• Tailor-made one-off designer outfits and garments
• male, female or child designs
• wedding gowns
• whole bridal parties
• evening wear
• historically acurate costumes for film, stage or re-enactors
• complete wordrobe/fashion makeovers

Each garment is handmade to your mesurments. I only use natural and where posible organic fabrics. The fabric I use are:

• Hemp
• Hemp blends
• silk
• linen
• wool
• cotton
• antique fabrics
• antique buttons and lace

Although I can create looks/outfits inspired by any period, my special intrests are mid to late Victorian, Elizabethan and Medival Europe.
