Who is Helen?

Helen Wells is an internationally celebrated artist based in Australia. She best known for her portrait and CD/book cover work.

‘My work is an exploration into human nature and the often hidden beauty within every-one and everything. There is a trance-like intuitive aspect to how I compose a piece of work. I have spent much of my life training myself to see and interpret the world around me in a different way from most people. I then present what I see as a visual image so that others can experience it also. I am fascinated with the world and the deeper meaning behind it.’

I make use of various mediums, but oil paints are what most people request when commissioning a portrait from me.’
